Carnew Nursing Home, situated in the scenic countryside of Carnew Village, Co. Wicklow, was opened in July 2023. Our purpose-built home accommodates up to 90 residents and is committed to delivering the highest level of senior care services.
The newly constructed residence features modern amenities and a tranquil setting, harmoniously blending comfort and care for seniors who are searching for a nurturing and welcoming community to flourish in.

"I would recommend Carnew Nursing Home to anyone"
I feel very well - very happy and content. I love the residents, the nurses, and the staff – they are all lovely. I have travelled a lot, and I love it here. During the daytime, I like playing bingo, drawing, reading the papers, and I really love the parties. I’m very happy here because my family are all away. I get to talk to my family all the time; I spoke to Australia today, and I saw my son on WhatsApp – they are coming to visit next week.
I do love it here. I would recommend Carnew Nursing Home to anyone - you are never lonely, you’re always happy and content. Everything is here for you, thanks to all the staff and managers.

"They cannot do enough"
Mam was the first resident to move in and the care and attention that she has been given has been absolutely incredible - the nurses, carers, household staff , kitchen staff and activities staff, especially Mary, are absolutely amazing. They all call in to have a chat and say hello. To us visitors, they cannot do enough and make us feel so welcome. From the moment you walk into reception you are greeted with a welcome and once you enter the ward everyone is so happy and friendly. The time that mam got the turn they couldn’t do enough for us. Mary gets us involved in games, singing and entertaining the residents - which they all enjoy. We wish Carnew Nursing Home every success for the future and we thank them most sincerely for their kindness and support to us all.

"Great comfort knowing she is happy"
Mum moved back to Carnew and into this splendid home earlier this year. Since then I feel like my mum has come back. Great improvements all round due to the great staff there. They work hard to keep the residents occupied and entertained. It's a great comfort knowing she is happy and settled as I live in the U.K..

"Her cognitive ability has improved 10 fold"
I have to say since Benny has moved into the care of Carnew Nursing Home, her cognitive ability has improved 10 fold. It's like you have turned the years back by 10 to 15 years. Her memory & wit have returned along with her humour.
